Ace Pilot, a mercenary for the galactic order S.U.C., needs to stop the rising power of the Krill empire from taking over the galaxy one planet at a time.

You play as Ace, the S.U.C.'s secret weapon. Follow the adventure in Story Mode. Create limitless battle scenarios in Action mode!

Hell, even watch the cut scenes while auto-skipping gameplay after you've beat it, if that's what gets your kicks!
Story mode is incredibly cutscene heavy! If you're let down by that, you can always have instant fun in Action Mode.

Game updated 7-20-2012: We figure that if you're here you're here to play the game, so we decided to make a few modifications. We took out medals, and everything to do with the API (if you want more info on that reasoning, message EldritchAbomination). This game is about the story, so we took out saved progress and now you just have access to the whole game; play whatever you want whenever, no worries about having a saved game. We are currently addressing the issue of the "Shared Creations" thing on profile pages. That is a result of saving the game, not something we wanted to happen, which is part of why we took out saves. Oh, and we made it where only simple ads show up instead of videos.

OPTIONS
- You do have some options in the game. You can change all of your controls, and there is a keyboard mode if you are using a laptop (or just like the keyboard).
- There are also several options for effects and debris that you can turn up or down depending on your computer.

Much like the reviewer below me, the art direction is fantastic; unfortunately, there are some issues. The biggest bug I've got is pausing, I'm rocking Firefox 10.0.1 (On a laptop) or specifically:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:10.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.1

Given what little I've seen (Haven't got past the first planet.) I can only imagine the code involved, but it sure smells like Jenga. Have fun with that. ;)

Nice style but glitchy. That's what you get when you have one programer and 13 artists. An ascetically pleasing but non functional game.

Also for debugging On the second level where you first activate your missiles. I ran into the asteroid pit (by not turning at all) and my ship went bonkers (by rapidly turning in the same spot) and could not move. Of course I was destroyed and then it froze. I am using Firefox 9.0.1 as a browser. Good luck but in the future please take the technical part of games more seriously by giving your developers a proper team not just a bunch of artists demands.

Let me just say I have been eagerly waiting for the release of the game. Now that I've actually played it, I found it worth the wait but a bit lacking.

What really shined in this game were the cutscenes. The style of the animation is unique and beautifully done. I enjoyed nearly every second of the humor and story. The characters were interesting and were all voiced perfectly. I also enjoyed the music quite a bit, it fit the theme and general feel of the game perfectly.

Now onto what I felt needed improvement. I must say I am QUITE disappointed with the gameplay. It was bland, repetitious, and just not that fun to play. Ace's ship does very little damage and flying as very little precision. If you plan on making a sequel this is one area that totally need to be revamped. Seriously, if not for the animation I probably wouldn't play this.

Overall, I enjoyed my time playing this (or at least playing it to get to the cutscenes). However, I think Ace would be much better suited as flash series than a game.

It had really good animating and voice acting but bad controls, low firepower (it takes far too long to take down the big ships), and no challenge at all because you just get repaired kinda ruined the gameplay for me. Next time you should try to make it shorter and more of a challenge.
