This game is an excellent idea, but the gameplay gets rather repetitive. It feels a lot like Last Stand, which I think is good, but again: the gameplay is repetitive. Perhaps having the environment (where YOU are) change with the section of the city would be good. Other than that, it's a fun game.

Wonderful FPS, Zombie, & Flash Game, the only thing I can think of to make it better is RPG Elements such as leveling and the like. Then again I am a sucker for an RPG, so that might just be that talking. Either way a wonderful game that is worth the time to play, also it gets very challenging which is always a good thing. Thank you for your quality product!

I'm a huge fan of survival horror games. When I saw this game was up, I gave it a try.

Well, I played it. And I'm not frustrated. I'm upset.

The game has some MAJOR balancing issues. The most apparent is the control. When you dictate how much recoil a gun has, generally there's a way to compensate for it. But no matter what pattern of fire you went with, the gun almost always gets out of your control. This is especially damning for larger groups of zombies, and when most of them are runners. More often than not, I would compensate for head shots and shoot nothing but the ground, or I'd aim for the torso/legs, and there would be no sign of damage whatsoever.

For parties, it's WAY TOO EASY to lose people. More often than not, I'd have a well protected party with a good chance of finding something, and most instances I'd lose 2-3 people every time I went to look for supplies/survivors, and not find a thing. In a game that prides itself on micromanagement, the unnecessary loss of personal is inexcusable, and the incredibly low encounter rate for weaponry is laughable. I made it through an entire game only finding 3 guns, and losing almost every survivor by day 14.

The color and graphics are okay, but I seriously found the night time levels almost unplayable. With the colors so muted, it's EXTREMELY difficult to place shots at incoming zombies, and runners doubly so. It's more of a nitpick, really (with people saying differently about the night time), but I've helped people play test games like this before, and it's inconveniently like catching a fly in a dark room: you know it's there, but you can't trust yourself to make it stop.

I won't talk about the bugs. They've already been brought up.

The last thing is the learning curve this game has. First few stages? Okay. After wave 5? Holy crap. The hit detection goes down, while the damage needed to put down zombies goes up. By wave 10, you're looking at needing to do much more damage (even WITH head shots, I've noticed) than most people will be able to do. And with the increase of numbers, that makes the game that much harder to play, let alone BEAT.

Even with it being a good looking game, controls and playability are at an all time low. Work on the shading, more weapons variety, and balancing the game (with possibly more diversity and even environmental factors for good measure), and you might have a clear winner. As is? It's NOT worth playing at all.

It's a damn shame, really.

I would give it more IF my crosshairs didn't mysteriously disappear. Other wise a pretty fun game, I think that bug needs to be looked into.
