Hi everyone, this is my first NG submission!
I created this in 3 days for the Global Game Jam 2012, the theme was Ouroboros (a snake eating its own tail).
Everything was done by myself over the weekend, including the art+audio+code etc.
Please let me know what you think, thanks! :)

Keep making games. You have a very distinguishable style that needs to be better tuned to a longer game. Seriously though, keep making games.
I only realized how clever this game was when I was killed by my clone, which had been hitting spike balls backwards in the last cycle. The graphics are neat, the music is relaxing, and the game really represents the Ouroboros concept well. I liked watching the day change and the earth turn. I feel like there could have been a bit more content, such as another monster type, added into the later cycles, but this game is still great as it is (and I can imagine adding anything else would have been difficult, given the time constraints). I was challenged by Cycle, and I had fun playing it. Thank you for making it!
Glad that you noticed that! The spike balls were created very intentionally with the purpose of making you attack backwards, hopefully making you kill your future self :)
So thisi is not that bad.
The physics works good and I don´t care that much ´bout graphic.
But there is nothing there to keep me interested; what will happen to this guy? Why is he running round the globe? Will I manage to jump over those fire-creatures for one mor round?
I don´t care!
I don´t care bout any of the above, and that´s the problem w/h the game in my opinion.
Work a little w/h the feeling and motivations for the player and I think you can create great things in the future!
pretty good, especially for the time
if this had a tad more complexity, like some actual obstacles or more types of monsters, maybe a save point every 2 cycles to stop whiners, a different background for each cycle. it could be a pretty cool game. don't just let this drop, make another.
clever concept, but pporly executed.
you could have done so much with the idea of chasing and fighting yourself, but the gimmick adds very little to the whole experience. Your clone moves far too slow, and has already stopped plenty of times along the way, meaning that there is no challenge at all to fight him. Honestly, this game would have been no different without the clone gimmick.
Context? Context is for casuals.
Hexagon Puzzle Game
An old style, pixel-art noir adventure, inspired by classical point-and-click games.
