UPDATE: Uuuuh, front page?? Thanks a ton. :] And thanks for all the votes and reviews and advice. I've updated the movie with subtitles to make up for over processed audio garble.
My first newgrounds entry ever, as well as my first animation in years. It was made in part to get myself playing around with Flash again. It was also so I could get some sort of little intro for this story I've been working on, but have no intentions of animating(if it were, the style would be way different. Frame by frame awesomness that I'm not capable of now). Therefore this animations raises faaaar more questions than it answers. I worry that it won't stand too well on it's own because of that, but hey, twas a good exercise and stuff.
My apologies for the Frankenstein-esque mess that is the narration. I compiled all the clips in the most unorganized way ever, so in the end it turned into a hodgepodge of different volumes, voices, effects, and noise that was hard to fix after the fact. Blargle. Welp, lesson learned for next time.
So yep, I'm no animator(nor a voice actor, apparently), but it was fun to do. So will probably try some more stuff in the future...with less vibration inducing textures...and better audio.

Quite Amazing
Tell you what:
Though you say you are not an animator, nor good with voice acting, you made a nice cutout animation* and the story, although not the most original, can be a base for future animations you have in mind.
So what i'm saying is: if you fell like doing another animation, go ahead, you got a lot of potential, but always try to improve at your own pace, take both the good and bad critics with open arms and I hope see another animation of you soon (no pressure).
P.S. :subtitles are also something good to compensate bad audio

Very Nightmare Before Christmas kinda spooky
I do hope at some point the author completes the story. Its no fun trying to guess what kind of ending other people invision.

Well done!
Lots of dark possibilities.

Awesomely Spooky
I absolutely love a good freak flash, game, anything able to get my heart racing. And this one did it twice. In a row. Also, I think the voice quality combined with the animation style gave this a much creepier vibe than it would have had it been completely crisp audio.

Fairly Impressive
This was a really well told story. Everything came together well here, and interestingly, the poor audio quality may have worked in your favor (making the story spookier)! I don't think it's too much to say this animation qualifies as art, I mean real art. If this is your first animation, then I can't wait to see what else you come up with!
