Mission in Space : the lost colony is a turn based tactical game in which you control up to 6 troopers and deliver a colony from an alien threat.

There's 12 different missions with various objectives, 40 upgrades, 18 badges, 2 difficulty settings.

HOW TO UNLOCK THE HARD MODE : complete mission 12.

All the missions can be won in gold the first time without the premium skills. Check out the video walkthroughs in the help menu to see how it's done !

We hope you'll enjoy the game !

The gameplay was very addictive, although everyone seems to complain about it being turn based, I found it to be quite pleasing. Everything was going good until the part where you had to pick up those devices and place them in certain spots in order to jam the signals of the enemies, I mean why does it require so much concentration just to hold a piece of equipment (alert mode disabled)? and why does it require so much effort to just to pick it up (3 AP) ? It's not like he's lugging a microwave oven around the building.

The character faces are hideous, but that doesn't matter. The gameplay is good and the the environments are moody. I like it a lot. The turn based system does get old though. Some things should be automatic.

It's fun, but the turn based crap gets annoying.

Yes. Fantastic flash game. Reminds me of the Jagged Alliance series of games. Good use of different character abilities. The music was well chosen too. A variety of songs that were all fitting - yet completely unique.

I did find getting diamond on level 11 very challenging. Much harder than the boss. But now it seems easy!

There seems to be some issue with my newgrounds medals being in sync with my game badges. It's annoying for my hours spent on this game to not count to the newgrounds medals. Maybe clicking on the badges menu could have potentially performed an update.
(For example: I have the diamond on every level medal, but not the gold on every level medal??)

I'd love to see a sequel or a different game in the same style!

Very adictive, although it's long, complicated, and I got tired (and I'm gonna stop playing cause it's late) it's very adictive and a nice game.
Sometimes a little scary haha
