---THE MOVIE DOES LOAD IT JUST DOESNT SHOW THE LOADING BAR PLEASE WAIT A MINUTE.---

If the movie lags try to lower the quality.

Well I finally decided to submit it here on Newgrounds, my graduating project for my animation class which I made one year ago. I made the music myself you can download it in the audio portal, all instruments where played each one at a time.
It was my first time mixing it all together and is not quite at the level which I wanted it to be.
I also did a lot of rotoscoping in this movie filming myself and drawing over it as an expirimental test. The song was inspired by various things such as the music of Cab Calloway and Tom Waits.
Please PM me if you find something wrong with the flash

Download the song for free here: http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/464262

LYRICS:

Small conversations, obscene
relations just an unwashed fake romance.
Horny sound from a growlin' hound and a perverted old street cat.

Dirty floors, suite coats black ties
Come to take their chance,
He got a big bag of money, just for his dirty honey,
For his sore street romance.

Daddy's little girl, in a pretty red dress,
And a pink pistol in her hand .
Her tears are black and her hair is a mess,
she could not understand.

She blows the sax like no other,
She learned to play, from her mother.
Easy lover, under the cover
and a bedtime story from a prostitute,

Who was never taught the explanation, never had the education
to feel another vibration of love.

He got a big bag of money, just for is dirty honey,
For his sore street romance.

Dark, heavy and absolutely amazing.

The visual style was a little rough, but that can be ignored and mistaken for artistic expression emphasising the grit in this bittersweet song.

The instrumental parts in this song are extremely well played, the blues guitar solo in the middle is both subtle and expressive and the trumpet was forceful yet well delivered. I feel that your singing in this masterpiece was little too heavy on the grit, and a ever so slightly lighter and clearer voice would have helped improve it.

I hope my feedback was useful, and good luck on your future works.

Great ambient, great idea

The style you gave to this is greatly put together, for a moment I thought that keeping everything in just-shadows, would be better, but later on I changed my mind, the whole setting, the story, everithing fits 'til the very end, so, congratulations, is a great piece, so is the song, and definitely the guy playing sax/guitar. A well diserved FP, 5/5, 10/10 (Yes, there's room for improvement, but I liked this one too much to complain:3) Keep up the great job cousin!!

Excellent

This flash was awesome to watch.

The music was really nice, a very smooth tune with nice sounding vocals.

The animation to the music was drawn in a refreshing style, and done well.

The rotoscoping was nice but.... You say you did it yourself? Stripper shaking her ass + You = .... You're the stripper? I think I'm gonna hurl, haha! ;)

Great job, keep up the hard work. Oh, and I loved the Guitar/Sax (that right?) guy, really well done and a nice idea!

Basset-Hound responds:

haha no I wasnt shaking my booty for the stripper scene. The piano part and the guitar/trumpet parts however is me.

I was only playing the trumpet for 2 months when I recorded this so my amateurish way of playing did make it sound a little bit more similair to the saxophone sound. ;)

Thanks for reviewing
