---THE MOVIE DOES LOAD IT JUST DOESNT SHOW THE LOADING BAR PLEASE WAIT A MINUTE.---

If the movie lags try to lower the quality.

Well I finally decided to submit it here on Newgrounds, my graduating project for my animation class which I made one year ago. I made the music myself you can download it in the audio portal, all instruments where played each one at a time.
It was my first time mixing it all together and is not quite at the level which I wanted it to be.
I also did a lot of rotoscoping in this movie filming myself and drawing over it as an expirimental test. The song was inspired by various things such as the music of Cab Calloway and Tom Waits.
Please PM me if you find something wrong with the flash

Download the song for free here: http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/464262

LYRICS:

Small conversations, obscene
relations just an unwashed fake romance.
Horny sound from a growlin' hound and a perverted old street cat.

Dirty floors, suite coats black ties
Come to take their chance,
He got a big bag of money, just for his dirty honey,
For his sore street romance.

Daddy's little girl, in a pretty red dress,
And a pink pistol in her hand .
Her tears are black and her hair is a mess,
she could not understand.

She blows the sax like no other,
She learned to play, from her mother.
Easy lover, under the cover
and a bedtime story from a prostitute,

Who was never taught the explanation, never had the education
to feel another vibration of love.

He got a big bag of money, just for is dirty honey,
For his sore street romance.

Ok...

The animation was good, but the character's movements were a bit choppy in my opinion.

Excellent work

You definitely managed to grasp the film noir feel perfectly.
The glowy rotoscoping effect was spectacular as well and definitely adds to the darker atmosphere.

General conclusion: exquisite work, and the frontpage and award are well deserved.

WTF, GUY BELOW ME?!

Since when wasn't the art professional?
I loved every bit of it! And I'm a fan of jazz.
A trully unique animation, I'm looking forward to you.

Basset-Hound responds:

I kind of agree with him about the art. I made this a year ago and when I compare it to what I can make now it looks way less professional. Not that I think it´s bad, just a bit dated.

But I´m glad so many people are enjoying it since it was a whole lot of hard work :)
Thanks for the review :)

Wonderfully Unique

Although the art wasn't professional, it was still very well done and the animation was smooth, and very unique. I didn't catch all of the lyrics, but I felt the song was theatrical within the Jazz genre, and that you did a good job overall.
