Oh no! The pirates are here to loot! Oh please help us!
Your islands are under attack by a-thousand-and-one pirates. Defend your treasure from evil!
Play on 12 different island and avert all of the waves of attacks.
In this game you will find yourself up against blackships, ghostships, airships, submarines and many more.
They all have just one goal, to loot your treasury.
Build towers, hire a crew and buy some cannons.
Build a tower.
the type of tower determins the health of the tower:
- Woodtower, cheap and easily beaten.
- Bricktower, a good simple first tower.
- Stonetower, a sturdy structure.
- Steeltower, the cannonballs almost bounce of it.
Hire a crew.
The more guards you hire for your tower, the faster they will reload the cannons.
Buy a cannon, or four.
Think where to place your cannons before buying them. The better the location, the more shots you will have before the pirates reach your towers.
And off course, one cannons is faster to reload than four of them!
All levels are playable in easy and medium, or hard if you like it tough!.
There are 3 saveslots, so 1001 Pirates can be played by more then one person.

craptacular.
jpuroila pretty much covered why this game is (to put it kindly) utter crap. you get one star because I'm nice like that.
we need an option to turn off ONLY the music, for starters. a tutorial would also be mighty helpful... so would being able to actually defeat the ships that came in--this while in EASY mode.
sorry, but... this is worth blamming, not playing.

yet another tower defense
One star for the nice graphics and the sound (though soon too repetitive)
the rest is just a lot of wasted potential.
This game is not playable, it costs a fortune to build up a tower that actually CAN sink a pirate ship but then suddenly it disappears... probably got destroyed? Can I repair it? Probably... not. Anyways, there is no way to compensate such a loss! The payouts of sinking a ship are way too low. I could go on about the game balancing but I'm too bored...

Frustrating
This game has a very good potential, but is not finished at all. You need to at least put a menu in game and a short tutorial.
The game needs a restart button.
And everything jpuroila said before is true, especially stats (damage, attack speed, range etc) to know what we are doing.
You have the concept, now make a finished game from it !
