too short... and the ending was really unexpectedly creative but not quite logic
yeah I know what you mean. We always wanted to end it with the video but we didn't have time to make it exactly how we wanted. At some point in the near future we might do a sequel/remake and we will definitely be taking on board any feedback, so thanks!
It was decent, but the cut scenes where way to long for me got really bored.
as others said before, a bit short and the end is too sudden - or not properly "ended"..
and there's not exactly much going down or many things to discover - too simple.
though, i understand this a first test run, kinda. hence, not too bad.
AND: kudos for cool graphic style!! the monochrome pix with details coloring when pointed at is a good idea. the text flowing through the screen was very artistic, the series of pix instead of just switching to the crime scene was nice too (a little too many pix tho'). the idea of this blog-video was brilliant. and the sad loop as a background sound was totally fitting the ambiance.
MORE! same style, longer and more stuff - i'd so love to play another game by you :D
I gave you 11/2 point because the graphics were good and the story line okay but overall this had no thinking involved. You just clicked until you reached the ending. For a while I thought my computer froze but no that's the ending. You watch a youtube video and that's it. I expected more. Very disappointed.
Rage-quit after examining the dead dude, the text display system kills any playability. This is apparently (from what I gather from previous reviews) an illustrated story kind of game. As such, text is fundamental, so you have to make it comfortable for the reader. That means no having to chase it all around the screen with your eyes and allowing to control its advance speed with mouse clicks.
Fading and scrolling text may be fine for subliminal messages, short words, artsy-pantsy video clip stuff, but not for telling a story.
Context? Context is for casuals.
