Thanks for the reviews! I read every one. Still working on the sequel - I aim to finish it by the end of this year.
everything quite good, the story the soundtrack, the aniamtions
All around good
Overall, the voice acting was good, the humor was just odd enough, and the art was pretty good. But there were a few problems, two of them having already been addressed.
1: Dubstep is cool. It's not an all the time music, though, and can be pretty jarring. Try to use other stuff too.
2: Slow-mo violence. Whip it out once or twice, and it emphasizes just how brutal and awesome this is. Whip it out every time someone gets hurt, you slow down the flash, disrupt the action, and turn it into a cheap gag.
Besides, slow motion is cool and all, but when everything is happening real quick, it can really drive home how intense everything is. With Perma-slo-mo, you lose the sense of urgency.
3: There isn't a sequel. This is the biggest problem I have.
Relax my man, there will be a sequel. Good advice there, thanks!
I was fully prepared to rate this a full 5/5 10/10 within the first 30 seconds. As it turns out, there was an actual Flash attached to those 30 seconds and my mind was fully blown. Well done, sir.
I would also like to add that I am not a fan of ye olde dubstep, but even that did not lessen my enjoyment of your piece. I would personally advise a more neutral choice of music for your future works, but that is fully at your discretion, and rightfully so.
Entertaining, a tiny bit slow.
I liked the effect of the slow-motion bloody scenes, but thought it might be a wee-bit more exciting had the scenes jumped a bit more quickly. In any case, very fun to watch.
As for dubstep it's a love it or hate it kinda a deal, I personally hate it, that's just me, and I won't mark anything down because of it.
Cheers! Looking forward to more.
Thanks, my son.
i enjoyed it
i don't know guy 2 down i liked the dubstep - is it all free to use, if so that is awesome.
i can see the passion you put in this, keep going, i like this style of film and i'd like to see what you can do with a few years of practice.
