An arcade-style dungeon-crawler inspired by 1980s classics such as Gauntlet, Rogue & Red-Box D&D: Choose your champion and begin your quest to slay the Evil Minotaur!
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move, enter to wait a turn or go down the stairs, and the mouse to cast spells or access your inventory, map & character screens.
To attack simply walk into monsters.
I can see myself playing this for many hours without end. very strategic, very well done, and it gives me one hell of a nostalgia boner.
I miss my NES...
i like this game man
I played as the wizard class and did like getting all kinds of different spells. However after the first 5 spells there didn't seem to be much point in getting more spells since you can only use 5. It would be nice if you could get more than 5 spell slots as you level up.
For my spells, I used Fireball, Fireball, Fear, Blink/Teleport, and Sleep. My technique was to cast Fireball twice, then Fear/Sleep and run away to buy some time while the Fireballs recharge. I kept Blink/Teleport for safety (wasn't really necessary since I could have used health potions instead). I actually think Blink might be better than Teleport due to its greater range.
Amazing Retro-like Dungeon Crawler
Everything in this entry screams retro in the most amazing way.
I really like the sound fx you chose for this game, it really harnesses the Gauntlet vibe and runs with it.
My only question is why has it taken someone so long to make an awesome flash based crawler like this!
Great game and keep up the great work!
