Have you ever wondered how will an RPG be played if it uses only one button? We have.
This is a mechanic we're experimenting right now and will be made into a full game if it works!

Great idea, but needs tuning up

This is really a great idea; a super simple interface for a reasonable complex system. However, there is something that bugs me--elixirs. The way they work is perfectly fine, but when we buy one while we already have one in our possession, shouldn't one of them be automatically used? I mean, that just makes too much sense to me. Instead of just wasting money, why aren't we allowed to use the old one and buy the new one? it's the only time you can actually lose money without getting ANYTHING back, so I think it's important that you get something for buying an elixir when you already have one.

Nice little gem

I think it's really good.
Very minimalistic and quite addictive.
But it's not really a RPG.

I would prefer to have a button to speed up the calculation in the end.

Now that's what I call window shopping!

This game is one of the better ones I've played in a while. The concept of this game is to use the mouse to purchase equipment and have the knight do everything else? That seems like a splendid idea! The game, music, and overall feel all give off a sense of quickness and a rush of energy--very well implemented. I like the idea of using a timer to count away your life--really adds a dynamic feel.

Some complaints from me would be the lack of different enemies. It felt like I was running in circles with the same enemies around--I didn't go anywhere in this adventure.
Another "would-be"complaint would be the random generating shops. I guess this means that luck is part of the game but with this idea, you feel yourself open to the possibility of having no "Lifespan" Shops around, making the game unplayable.
Besides these points, the game is still spectacular. Just work on polishing it a bit and it can become something greater.

It's fun

A good time waster too. I feel it lacks scenery, and you could have added like random enemies. It's a good game though, I really like it.

Addicting as heck!

This has to be one of my favorite flash games on newgrounds. The sprites look great, but the menu screens look a little poorly done. The game is a little random and makes it fairly hard to beat. If it's possible to beat... I enjoyed fighting to get my score up, which I plan on getting to the top even if it takes me a couple of days. I would love to see this game made into a full game!

Just curious, how far has everyone gone? I can only manage to get to day 14. I have to either get divine edge, or pour all of my gold tickets into weapons and armor to kill him if that doesn't appear. Stupid goblin had to kill me >.>
