Author Comments

"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

Enjoy.

V1.1
- Level 3 made easier. Also forcefield is triggered during vulnerable sections of the level.
- El presidente medal fixed.
- Challenges fixed, no more broken numbers.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.2
- Bug with weapons unavailable in Swarm mode fixed.
- Turrets accuracy fixed.
- Console intro can be skipped by clicking.
- Level 3 tweaked so its less likely to break ( Yet again )
- Shout out to the NG boys who helped with bugs in the credits.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.3
- Challenges should be less buggy.
- Reduced the chance of being stuck in a spawn hole.
- Invisible objects fixed.
- I'm sure someone said faster running would be nice ? Done.

V1.4
- A bit of retconning ready for Outpost 2, plus a little teaser.
- Minor tweaks and fixes
- Full screen mode if you've got Flash 11.3 or greater installed.

Just a note on the quality settings, its already running in low quality, hence the lack of in-game option for it.

not bad,,

Not bad..

Do you write reviews professionally ? Like for a game magazine or something.

No ? Didn't think so.

Give the game a 5, hell give it a 0, but explain why, otherwise it's just pointless spammy noise.

Fun, but major glitch ruined game.

Fantastically designed and implemented game. Had a great time playing. But after about 30 minutes of play time, I "fell into" one of the spiderweb-like spawning points and could not get back out. Tiny oversight, but it completely ruined my game experience. You may want to update the game and prevent that from happening to anyone else.

dumb as hell

its good till you get to lvl like 3 and you gtta wait for the door to open, if you just have the assault rifle there is lterealy NO way to beat tht shit, i waisted a good hour of playing and saving up for a decent gun only to get a ration of crap from this.

Level 3 is Retartedly Hard.

The opening Mission Where you need to defend the door, the enemy comes way too fast and the Character moves way too slow. Lost all my lives in a matter of Seconds.

Ome thing I must sya I absolutely hate about this.

No quality settings, sound settings.. the pause menu didn't have any game configuration.

Just some mission data.

What the hell? Major chunk of the score is taken out for that.
The settings of a game are a necessity for every person.

What about people that can't run this on high quality?
What about people trying to not awaken a sleeping person, or wants to turn down the sound just for it's loudness but still hear a song playing or someone talking in a video in a different tab?

You focused too much on the gameplay and quality, and not enough on anything having to do with actual game configuration for one's satisfaction.

Squize responds:

The game runs in low quality by default mate, that's why there's no setting to change it up.
Sound has an on / off toggle, and every computer has a volume setting. I must admit I didn't cater for someone wanting a low volume game whilst watching a movie, odd how that didn't cross my mind.
