"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

Enjoy.

V1.1
- Level 3 made easier. Also forcefield is triggered during vulnerable sections of the level.
- El presidente medal fixed.
- Challenges fixed, no more broken numbers.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.2
- Bug with weapons unavailable in Swarm mode fixed.
- Turrets accuracy fixed.
- Console intro can be skipped by clicking.
- Level 3 tweaked so its less likely to break ( Yet again )
- Shout out to the NG boys who helped with bugs in the credits.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.3
- Challenges should be less buggy.
- Reduced the chance of being stuck in a spawn hole.
- Invisible objects fixed.
- I'm sure someone said faster running would be nice ? Done.

V1.4
- A bit of retconning ready for Outpost 2, plus a little teaser.
- Minor tweaks and fixes
- Full screen mode if you've got Flash 11.3 or greater installed.

Just a note on the quality settings, its already running in low quality, hence the lack of in-game option for it.

Great looking little game, but I'm experiencing a couple of Major bugs that render the game unplayable. After killing the first red alien, the explosion sound effect plays continuously for the rest of the game. It will fade out if I open the pad, but comes back as soon as the pad is closed. Also, once this happens, I can no longer open doors, either by shooting them, or by using keys. Makes it impossible to play the game if you can't open any of the doors.

I'd really like to play this game, but as it is now, I can't. :(

Superb game.

But with the lack of customizing controls, this is really hard to play on a laptop I must say!

Squize responds:

It was actually developed on a laptop, but I have a track pad.
It's always the way with "Twin stick" shooters on laptops, they always suffer. With cronusX I did add an option for keyboard only control, but I think the lack of accuracy in this game with that approach would be no improvement than what it is now.

You get stuck in a trap pretty often

The game itself was nothing new, but i did like it. I have the same complaint as everyone else, teh movement was pretty bad. But on another note, you get yourself screwed over pretty often because you wast so much amo opening doors and when the monsters come out, you have to switch to a pistol which does almost no damage.

Not bad at all

Normaly i would say that it is to "slow" for my taste, but it has a nice athmosphere, weapons are kinda cool and it looks real nice.
SPOILER ALERT!! Still, on some point in level 4 (in the last room with the realy big alien) the game just crashed, thats why there are only 6 stars, sorry. (and i liked the mails and stuff you could find throughout the game , thanks :D)
