"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

< Edit - Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone whose taken the time to play, vote and review the game. We may not have replied to all the comments but we have read them all, even the mental ones. Cheers - Squize >

Good job!

Great game with the feel of both Deadspace (Ammo scrounging and reserves) and the Alien movies (Obviously the aliens). A little annoyed with the pistol since its more like a magnum but other than that it has a very nice feel to it. But i found myself shooting the doors rather than use a key due to exp...maybe if you switched to getting more exp from unlocking then shooting i would use a key. :P

An incredibly awesome game, man. This is like the cool brother to the Darkbase series! Cannot wait to try out the other two Outpost games!

Cheers mate, glad you liked it ( O:Swarm is ok, just a dumbed down version, O2 / Lost Outpost was still pretty good last time I played it, hopefully it's not aged badly ).

In the pathology lab I always get stuck in those black web like things which is really annoying which causes me to need to restart the level. But overall i loved the sounds which really complimented the surroundings.

Fantastic game, but some problems.

I'll start by saying that the game is well designed, the premise is kind of cliche I'll admit, but it added some fun twists. Many levels of the design demonstrated that you understand the underlying elements that MAKE horror; darkness, surprises, uncertainty, limited resources, little things that jump out (exploding pipes, etc) and so forth. In total, it made a great gameplay feel and kept entertaining throughout.

Now I'll list the bugs I've found:
-Refire rate is listed as "reload speed" in weapon stats, should probably be fixed for clarity.
-On the 6th level, a floor-grate explodes and small larva fly out. Problems is, I was caught inside the hole where they spawn, with no way out and inescapable death. Ouch.
-When switching to another window and back (I've got a chat window rolling while playing) your cursor vanishes in menus.
-When switching to another window and back, the arrows and scroll bar in many menus, particularly the SHOP, disappear, but the home button is still there and will refresh it, still not great though.
-On the level where doors are being opened by your hacker friend, I picked up a PDA while the dialogue went on for opening the door, and was frozen inside the PDA, and died consequently as the combat was still going, probably the dialogue un-pause unpaused the PDA's pause? (Just a Theory)
-Froze on the 7th level, while firing my handgun, not much else that made it stand out, sorry.

Overall, FANTASTIC game. Lovin' it.
