Author Comments

"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

Enjoy.

V1.1
- Level 3 made easier. Also forcefield is triggered during vulnerable sections of the level.
- El presidente medal fixed.
- Challenges fixed, no more broken numbers.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.2
- Bug with weapons unavailable in Swarm mode fixed.
- Turrets accuracy fixed.
- Console intro can be skipped by clicking.
- Level 3 tweaked so its less likely to break ( Yet again )
- Shout out to the NG boys who helped with bugs in the credits.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.3
- Challenges should be less buggy.
- Reduced the chance of being stuck in a spawn hole.
- Invisible objects fixed.
- I'm sure someone said faster running would be nice ? Done.

V1.4
- A bit of retconning ready for Outpost 2, plus a little teaser.
- Minor tweaks and fixes
- Full screen mode if you've got Flash 11.3 or greater installed.

Just a note on the quality settings, its already running in low quality, hence the lack of in-game option for it.

Very Nice

THANK YOU so much to have added ZQSD controls !
Very nice game, but one thing annoyed me : the diagonal movement is faster than single axis movement, and that works for Aliens too, I've got eaten many times because aliens rushed me as I moved in diagonal :/

Pretty Good.

I like the graphics and gameplay is superb. It's addicting and the storyline is far from boring. The only bug/error I noticed is that aliens cann pass through the corners of the wall without been blocked. Other than that it's a great game.

Meh, nothing too new.

Not all of us use WASD/ZQSD

Why can't devs just add a button remap option? It's not like it's particularly hard. ESDF, IJKL, there are plenty of people who use that stuff instead. Seriously using WASD with your right hand. You need to use your pinky for spacebar and your thumb for shift.

MASSIVE PAIN IN THE ASS.

The game, though, seems to be one of many 2D Dead Space look-alikes (with an abandoned ship being found and the one person charging through it, and buying upgrades with exp etc etc) although fairly competent on its own. I can't actually tell the difference between the pulse rifle and the assault rifle, apart from the fact that the former has 100 more bullets. If there's another difference, it didn't indicate it in the stats, and I didn't notice any myself.

The "levelling up" seems to be entirely useless in the latter portion of the game. After you buy your an expensive unlock, later in the game, money becomes way more scarce than experience, and if you have the money to buy it, you will always have more than enough experience to get it.
