"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

Enjoy.

V1.1
- Level 3 made easier. Also forcefield is triggered during vulnerable sections of the level.
- El presidente medal fixed.
- Challenges fixed, no more broken numbers.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.2
- Bug with weapons unavailable in Swarm mode fixed.
- Turrets accuracy fixed.
- Console intro can be skipped by clicking.
- Level 3 tweaked so its less likely to break ( Yet again )
- Shout out to the NG boys who helped with bugs in the credits.
- Various tweaks and fixes.

V1.3
- Challenges should be less buggy.
- Reduced the chance of being stuck in a spawn hole.
- Invisible objects fixed.
- I'm sure someone said faster running would be nice ? Done.

V1.4
- A bit of retconning ready for Outpost 2, plus a little teaser.
- Minor tweaks and fixes
- Full screen mode if you've got Flash 11.3 or greater installed.

Just a note on the quality settings, its already running in low quality, hence the lack of in-game option for it.

Awesome stuff!!!

This game remids me of Aliens and Dead Space. And i also liked the ending. (lets rock motherfucka!)

I only said "MotherF..." so no one could tell us off for swearing ( Shooting things to bits seems to be fine, but saying motherfucker would get me into all sorts of trouble on certain portals ).

Nice for a flash-game

Very nice kind-of-dead-space-&-co flash game, the only 'real' thing I didn't like was the radar, this game could be a lot more scary if it doesn't have the radar. Well done anyway !

Cheers :)
We did limit the motion tracker to make it more like a sonar type thing, as I think if you could always see where the baddies were on it it would lose a lot of the tension.
( There is actually a hidden level 3 still in the code, we removed it due to pacing, and in that we killed the motion tracker and used a lot of shadow and "Red eyes". All the code is still sitting in there for it, working fine, just no art for the level ).

Squize responds:

So sorry, you've not played the game yet but have written a review and given it a 5 ?
Are your family being held at gun point until you review 20 games or something ? Ah, I know you can't tell me and put them at risk, just blink twice if it's the case.
