Great game
Matt, you are a wizard. Excellent art, programming, and design as always.
Unfortunately it runs very slowly for me, even when I turn off the backgrounds. I get about 7 to 13 fps when it looks like it should be 30. The performance is actually about the same regardless of the backgrounds or the quality. This suggests to me that maybe the backgrounds are still being rendered internally even while invisible, or that it has nothing to do with the graphics and it's the hit detection or something that's lagging it.
Yeah, my computer ain't the greatest but other stuff runs fine, like Bullet Heaven.

I love the game, but the whole forest-desert-ice-valcano is getting a little old.
It would be nice to get some new areas!

Very Well Made And Fun
The game is pretty good though I've run into a minor issue that's probably only on my part.It played pretty smoothly on Kongregrate (30 fps on full quality and such) but for some reason it runs a few frames slower here on Newgrounds regardless of how low I put the quality on.I can't tell what causes it but it's minor and usually it doesn't go any lower than 25 fps,still though I wish I knew what to do about it.Either way alls I can say is you definitely know how to make fun flash games and that this was a nice game to make to help tide over the wait for EBF4.All in all thanks for taking the time and effort to make these nifty games.~
I've noticed that extra lag too. The only difference with this version is the NG API, but I don't think that's the problem. *shrugs *

AWESOME GAME! :D
Nice game! Love it! The only thing I would like is that if you level up, your health is fully restored. But overall... AWESOME :D
