It feels good to be finally submitting this. I hope you all have fun! Merry Xmas. :3

***

The game should save automatically, but opening the map will do a manual write to the HD. This might cause a moment of lag on some computers. So, DON'T PANIC! lol

If you want to make sure your game saves, open the map before you quit. It should be fine even if you don't, but a tester had an issue so I threw a flush statement in as a failsafe. :3

Just 100%'d the game.

An extremely well made game! Of course, just like the original it manages to be magical and adventurous without being boring or sappy; A difficult thing to do! My only complaint is if you get stuck looking for one or two items later on to finish the game, as I was, and end up taking 20 minutes scouring the landscape searching for the damned things.
Regardless, this is a very well thought-out game. The graphics were great, the controls were fluid, and all the little details made it quite charming.
My only complaint, and this might've just been me, but when I played on the site (i.e. without opening the game in a different window) I experienced severe lag, to the point that I couldn't play. Opening the game in a different window solved this problem entirely, so it could've been the ads or whatever, but still.
A very good follow-up to the original, nicely done my good man!

Beautiful, but slightly lacking in gameplay

When I saw this on the front page, I immediately remembered the first William and Sly which was clearly good enough to stick firmly in my memory. Went back to that one then remembered replaying the whole game to find that only 2 medals actually worked even though I'd done everything -_- Nice that this time they all worked lol
This game is a vast improvement on the last in terms of graphics. The gameplay is stunningly smooth, the animations are great and the artwork is beautiful. Might have been nice to have some 3D movement of the background though, especially while jumping through the air. I quite liked the black tunnels in the last game, but there weren't any in this one, only a few pockets. However, the hidden caves revealing themselves was great, and the animations and sounds were perfect.
Since there are no enemies in this game it feels like it's lacking something and it's a little too easy... Could've had some gnomes moving things about, but I'm guessing you've got something planned for the third game :P Also the flying ability rather than gliding makes searching very easy.
The map including locations of chests and other landmarks, although making it easier, is a great addition since it can be a pain having to remember where things were that you've already passed.
The music is fantastic, and I liked the sound effects at shrines, but I feel like more sound effects could have been used, like on landing after a jump, wind effects at high altitudes, or even footsteps while running (although Sly's a fox, so should be quiet anyway...)
I thought the controls were mostly very ergonomic, since it's sometimes helpful to move around while looking at the map.
Also loved the inclusion of background story line in the journal pages.
Biggest problem is lack of enemies or something to give the game some challenging aspect other than collecting stuff... for instance upgrades always get me hooked XD Maybe you could cash in mushrooms for improvements on abilities like jump height and speed... Other than that, fantastic game.

Not the same, but...

Not as good as the first, but excellent none the less. I appreciate the hard work you very obviously put into this. The models are great, with very fluid animation. The music is fantastic. The multi-layered parallax backgrounds were beautiful to behold, with some great detail I haven't seen since Shadow of the Beast.

Maybe I'm hung up on it not seeming to be very "hand-drawn." It seemed too smooth, somehow.

I'm enjoying it very much though, and hope it helps with whatever portfolio your building or whatever business you're running.

beautiful graphics

wow. definitely a great visual improvement from the 1st game. the game definitely left me playing for quite some time. i enjoyed the power ups that you got from completing those quests.
my only minor qualm is that there's no final "battle". it was anticlimatic for the game to end like that.
don't get me wrong; i enjoyed the game. it's a nice peaceful mood and visually stunning. if you make a third, it'd definitely get a warm reception.

Sequels usually aren't as good as the original but this game is very good and still holds the original concept.
