The game should save automatically, but opening the map will do a manual write to the HD. This might cause a moment of lag on some computers. So, DON'T PANIC! lol
If you want to make sure your game saves, open the map before you quit. It should be fine even if you don't, but a tester had an issue so I threw a flush statement in as a failsafe. :3

suprised and pleased
I was suprised and pleased to see a sequal as i just absolutely loved the first game! I found it to be engaging and fun although i might admit to a small amount of frustration when i got 99 mushrooms and was searching everwere for that last one, lol! The only thing i was a little dissapointed with was that you never see any of the gnomes but it doesn't bother me too much as i just love bouncing around as a fox :D

Really great GFX and all
Really great GFX and all but the gameplay is kinda boring. You have to run and check every wall and you give no any clues. On the map the fox lokation could blink and least and there are many details like that. Maybe I m just not exploration type of guy but getting those blue foxes also doesn't help you and not gives any clues :(

Wonderful
Probably the most beautiful game I've played here on Newgrounds so far.
And the music fits perfectly, I really enjoyed playing this game !
I wish the quests were longer, just so I can enjoy it more !
It reminded me a little bit of the game Aquaria from Bit-Blot.
Trully a masterpiece ! ( and sorry for my imperfect english. )

brilliant and beautiful
ill admit ive barely started the first (the darklings threw me off just a tad) but this is simply brilliant. the art is beautiful and well presented, the atmosphere is calming, the signs both have little jokes and hints, music and sound of wind and birds makes it relaxing, and for any platform gamers: you get medals and quest prizes. i find the smooth movement really impresive since ive seen other 3D games like this and even 2D games that dont have as smooth movement. i find the simple fact that you are playing as a fox ADORABLE and like how the pixies are animals instead of small wingeed people, very clever ;3 the plot is warm hearted and depending what u like keeps u wrapped up in playing. i sadly cannot animate or program, but this makes me want to learn even more :3 10/10 5/5
it seems im stuck tho... i dont know if i got my reward for the ohnem or not but thats more excuse to play this master piece again later. would love to see a third come out of the series
