I was jealous of all the cool Ludum Dare entries last week, so I thought I'd try one of my own. This took less than 24 hours, so forgive the simplicity of gameplay!
This is also an early Christmas present for my buddy Alan, who makes great music under the alias Pixeltank (look him up on bandcamp, facebook, or Soundcloud for some cool tunes!).
Nice, for a Ludum Dare inspired game.
I implore you guys to think really hard about this before giving a low vote:
It was made in less than 24 hours.
Considering that you have to program, do all of the artwork, and create the music, sounds in less than 24 hours to put this game together, it's pretty good. Granted, it wasn't made for the Ludum Dare competition itself, but I think more artists and programmers should try this exercise more often to test their abilities.
Now make a full game out of this, damnit.
Thanks! I'm still pretty new to actionscript, but this honestly went a lot less painfully as I thought it would. There are a few other things I would have liked to implement, so I very well may work on this further - I'm trying to get my friend Alan in on it as well, since Pixeltank is his brainchild, so stay tuned ;)
It's pretty straightforward. I wish it had more than three upgrades.
What’s inside this box? A lot of puzzles! Can you solve all 30?
