Despite how "simple" this game appears to be, I find that it is actually very polished. It felt that every little detail in the game was instrumentally designed to add something, right down to the "thump" sound effect during room changes, and managing to depict porn on her dad's 24-pixel computer screen.
And so much was packed in the dialogue. From how the loving girl imitates her dad and calls her doll names (probably not really knowing what whose words mean), to how her parents deliver that ultimate slap in her face by declaring that "our family is whole again" as soon as they find her brother and leave her behind (again). Just so heavy.
Beautiful guitar music too. Now the nice peaceful ending song is looping, but I don't think I can listen to it much longer, as the song is now forever associated with my tearful moment of finishing the game.
I almost wish that this game is really a clever prank by the developers. "Okay, let's make the most depressing game ever, have it rated as adult, so it'd hit the horndogs looking for pron like a train." If instead it really came from personal experience of you or your loved ones... I'm sorry.
i was expecting this when reading the authors comment, for a dark message..
It shows how when you get picked on you take you anger out on some one else and the cycle just continues and this happens allot in dysfunctional family's.

Really liked the game. I wanted a litttle bit more of story but good game.
