The whole "Resurrection from a computer program" thing, I think, is a metaphor for her retreating into her own mind after such a traumatic event, which happens a lot in those kinds of real-life situations. I think this game is important if only to show that this kind of theme is really a part of the Human condition, and happens far more often than you think.

God damn I hate this game. I hated from the minute I started playing it. The fucking family... the shitty parents, the shitty dialogue... the whiny dog... this game sucks in every imaginable fashion I can think of, and I hate you for creating the game.

That all being said... this game emoted real fucking anger and emotion at this shit, and for that, I commend you. There's not a lot of games that can really affect people's emotions because it is just supposed to be a fucking game... but this one did. Bravo. 5/10

At those people who say, "This is stupid why is she sad that they're dead," or "Why does she want that life back," listen up. There is a psychological disorder that can appear in extended situations of extreme abuse where there's no hope of escaping it. You don't know any other way to live and because of that, you want to keep that way of life even though it's terrible. It's the same reason why people stay in abusive relationships, they feel scared or trapped in their situations and eventually can grow to actually believe it's what they want and need.
