the single best thing i have seen featuring pokemon, the only thing that would make it better would be if pikachu actually died, but this works for me

Time to make myself no friends again...

Egoraptor, you are an excellent animator and artist. Your facial expressions have never been anything but hilarious. Special points go to Venusaur's sad face and Pikacu's muscle-blast. You get four points for the faces alone.

The rest... Eh. It really depends on what your style of humour is, I suppose, but it relied far too much on the Family Guy staples - physical comedy, elongating a joke to ridiculous lengths and swearing.

Oh God, the swearing. See, saying "f**k" over and over again not only isn't funny unless you have the mindset of a four-year-old, it devalues any impact the swearing might have otherwise. A precisely aimed f-bomb with perfect comic timing can have the audience in stitches. This just makes me feel you can't come up with anything imaginative. The voice acting was fine (Pikachu having a man's voice was funny the first time too) otherwise.

I'm going to give this a six - four for the faces, as I said above, one for the voices (although not what they said), and one more because I realise that I might not be the target audience. I play Pokémon, and realise it's ridiculous, but I feel that slapstick can only go so far and that Pikachu's diatribe dragged on for far too long. But if you think that violence is funny, and swearing is hil-arious, then you're probably too young to be watching a video rated M.

Maybe you should let someone else take over plot duties next time, and concentrate on what you do best - the brilliant rubber-face expressions.
