13 cookies left!

Awesome game! The frying pan! The boobs! The moral lesson of checking your expiration dates! A death sound effect for the various enemies would have been good, but that's my only real suggestion.

The people complaining about upgrades and stuff cracked me up. I beat the game, first try, with 13 cookies left. It's a skill-based game, people! If it wasn't, the combo wouldn't be reliant upon your timing.

I'm tripping!

This game was mostly good, but it had its flaws. I think the best thing about it is how well the graphics are done. What I didn't like was how it did just seem to be the same thing over and over. I would have liked it more if you had put some sound effects when you hit the burgers and toasters. It was pretty confusing, because I was repeating the first wave for some reason. I didn't even notice the old woman's sagging boobs that much, which was good.

It is kind of addictive because it's great fun to just hit things over and over. This was somewhat of a defense game with how you were guarding something. I especially like how the burgers and toasters die after you get rid of their health. It's interesting to see what this new NG game jam holds. I didn't realize there was one until now.

Its ok.

I dont know how you expect us to fight enemies of increasing difficulty without any powerups or upgrades we can buy. and the bonus round is kind of pointless, there is no added benifit of killing extra bad guys.

and it kinda gets boring after a while.

Mattster responds:

Who needs powerups when you're trippin' off of expired milk and you have a frying pan?

It is cool for something made in 7 hours...

But still, you shoulv've just kept working on it.

Like, the granny could have upgrades, from pan, to rolling pin, cleaning brooms, and such. Also, upgrades in speed and/or strength that reflect on her looks, like new slippers, gowns, night cap - all the granny stuff, and maybe even upping to extreme stuff our tough granny might want in secret! It would make the game much more amusing experience. Like this, it is pretty lifeless and it get boring quickly.

The animation is pretty awesome though, and the music is nice. In fact, evrything about this game is good expect for the gameplay itself.
I'd rather spend my boring afternoon studying than playing this. :(

Mattster responds:

Would have loved to keep working on it, but there was a deadline after all. There will be a few updates in the near future adding medals and whatnot.
