Great first attempt!
I think you did quite a good job on this. I hope you keep on working to improve it in small ways. Say, different game modes, like an 'endless' one where instead of stages they come in waves similar to the stages but without a pause in between. More tanks in the shop as well with different firing modes or speed+armour changes.
