Some of you may have noticed the Easter Egg in my latest animation, C. Crashing a Wedding, in which I sneaked Derpy Hooves as one of the horses pulling the Cyclops's carriage. Well, now, after two months of animating, I have finished my full-length flash movie featuring her.

Derpy Cardcaptor, as the title suggests, is a parody of the japanese Cardcaptor Sakura opening theme, featuring the background pony from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I know some of you may hate it just because it's about an anime, or ponies, or both. I understand. The only reason I submit this here is because I hope I'll get at least a few reviews that are actually helpful and tell me what I did right about the art/animation itself, and how to improve, instead of just ranting about how much they hate the show it is about.

So now dim the lights and enjoy the movie!

Very nice!

With an animation like that, I don't care much for WHAT it is a parody of.
It was very fluid, and I especially liked the way the wind carried the letters. People often have problems with animating those kinds of objects (myself included), but you did it very well.
The style fitted very well for the two series that you mixed. The only thing I can think of that could've been done better in this animation, are the lines. Though I like the way they personalized your animation...

Good job!

I'm not going to review as a Brony to be fair.

But I am going to review this as an Otaku, and that was awesome. The animation Could have been better. But all in all, that was a great parody.

Fluid animation

But the overall artwork could've been touched up a bit. There were many jaggies and poorly drawn lines that were difficult to ignore.

Other than that, music was loud and clear, the crossover was clever, and the theme stayed relevant to both shows.

I hate both the shows...

But honestly, that was amazingly put together! Congrats to you. The animation was fluid, the song was amazingly clear, the characters seemed to fit very well...
And, I love muffins... So I can't deny that. Amazing job, I hope to see more from you soon.
