Extremely boring, Almost no change from the original Space Invaders. And the music doesnt fits with the game.
Pretty accurate review, only the music was specifically chosen because it's from PewDiePie's older videos.
The game is okay, its sprites are actually good and look proper. But it's still not at its full potential. The music is redundant and is obviously not meant to be looped for more than 2 min. It's also broken. The flying saucer (statue?) comes up too often, making it easy to leave just one enemy and grind off it. The speed of enemies stays true to the classic, but there are too little enemies to make it even a remote challenge. This also adds to the ease of grinding the flying saucer. There should have been either a faster drop down rate or more preferably more enemies. The power ups were flimsy, almost coming and going as they pleased. The chain system that rewarded you with these power ups was also confusing, seemingly not going down when either me or my option (buddy) missed. The final power up was also useless, obviously there only to fit in one more reference. The death screen is literally not existent. You're simply put to a game over screen when an enemy reaches the bottom of the screen. And the bonus you receive is... I'm not even sure.
Conclusion: It's addictive, but in the bad way like smoking or doing pot. You can't stop, even if you wanted to, even though you know it's bad. But through a bit of a psychology mind game, you oversee how bad the thing is you're addicted to. And yes, I understand this game was probably made in a simple program, but at least check it over for some simple problems that you can fix.
Rating: 1.5, Use a continue.
This is a very old game. I absolutely agree with this review and have go on to make projects that are better than this, not that that says much.
