Brilliant

I do agree with the previous statements of the characters being slightly cliched, but what is a good anime without cliched characters? I will also add that I am actually do like the storyline so far and am intrigued to see how the characters will develop as the series continues. Once again brilliant job and I am looking forward to the next installment ^_^

Peace, Love n Hair-grease

Excellent!

Firstly, let me say that I LOVE how you hit all the anime/J-RPG cliches! If it isn't broken, than don't fix it. AND, if that was what you were aiming for, you hit your mark.

On to the critique.

The voice acting really seemed to fit the characters portrayed, The animations were very well done, and the story had a very good flow to it. I like that you have a main menu where you can chapter select (for those with chunking computers). Now, I only scored it a nine because I feel it needs a little more back-story (especially for who I assume is the main character). If you intend to revisit this in later episodes, than I add the extra star for 10 of 10.

At the end of the day, I really enjoyed what I watched and look forward to seeing this series progress! Please don't disappoint and let this one die off. Hate that when it happens.

As good as it is...

And the obvious amount of work you obviously put in, I definitely agree with TheWight.
However, despite this I can see that this will most likely evolve into something incredible before long.
I'll withhold the cookie for now, but when things pick up you'll definitely get it.
An 8 for all of the hard work and the satisfactory result. And a five so you get more fans.

-Aaroca-
Think of the cookie as a motivational incentive. ^_^

Please don't call me a hater!

I just think that this, although obviously the product off lots of hard work, is really lame, for a number of reasons.

Firstly, ALL of the characters are cliches. And not in the good way, like Girlchan in Paradise. Every time I was introduced to a new one, I either cringed or laughed. They're just very shallow and unrealistic.

Secondly although the main storyline is very cool and full of potential, the way you used it was unoriginal. I felt as if I'd heard all the lines before, and bits that should have been funny (meeting Zatchi) or cool (Tangle and the tyrant visit the villagers) just weren't because of boring lines. Lots of bits didn't make any sense, like the fight in Direstorm mentioned earlier, and the way he personally visited those villagers to kill them for no good reason. Why didn't he just take them as slaves? They were perfectly willing to help him. The voice acting wasn't bad, but I don't feel that the characters were represented realistically. The storyline of it was so childish.

Finally, if you're going to do an anime, do an anime. I'm not talking about the art style so much (although that could have been improved, they looked like western style drawings with manga style bits shoved in) It was more the way it copied every anime technique, but just didn't get it right. There was none of the flow you get in anime, and the scenes alternating between the three planets were unexpected, it felt as if they were there simply so you could use that technique.

This is one of those things I see on Newgrounds that has so obviously had so much love and effort put into it, but just didn't get it right. And that makes me sad because I can see the potential in it.

usually i really love ur stuff.....

but this time you got a bit off,
I was expecting something that isn´t like every anime mainstream sh***
i mean every villain takls so obviosly evil laughs maniacly and looks like some naruto or dbz villain and i hate that,
why not make it more real like a person that at first glance seems sympatheic and turns out to be cruel

this also bothers me with the champion of the blue knights, not that its a female , god no i´m no sexist but i mean in general: small weakly looking chars that are f***** powerful, when in reality, lets face it theese chars would be petty weak

i would have understood it if she outmatched her opponent by her dexterity, but blocking that hammer? cmon

I understand that almost every mainstream anime today is like that and is full of cliche´s . I thought, i hoped that this would be better than that i hoped it would not confine to the norm.

i not that angry about this flash itself, so forgive me my rage, but im sad what anime in the western world has become

Although i consider this to be anime inspired - i also am really influenced by american saturday morning style cartoons ei: batman beyond, spiderman and xmen animated series ect...even modern ones like ben10 or teen titans - - i know a lot of people hate that shit but i enjoy it - even if it is a bit campy - thanks for watching!
