Your galaxy has been invaded by melodic celestial bodies, and you've been tasked to save it. Bullet Audyssey is a rhythm-based shoot 'em up where you must "Survive the Beat." Absorb enemy bullets and fire it back at them, slow down time, upgrade your ship and level up.
We wanted to try something new using music as a template for the game mechanics. Many thanks to the incredible musicians on NG, where we got more than 85% of our music.
We hope you guys enjoy it!
Quick Controls Explanation:
- WASD, arrow keys, or numpad to move.
- Z, comma (for WASD) or SPACEBAR to shoot.
- X, period (for WASD) or SHIFT to slow time down.
Many apologies for the long loading time (it's a music game after all). Make sure to try out the tutorial while you wait!

amazing game its very hard and i mean VERY hard but its still worth playing the music is awesome you just need to level up a lot and get high damage and you can win

DUDE, AWNSOME
Its a freaking awnsome game, with some hugh potential! But how can i dodge ALL those bullets? :(
I have to agree with veronina, cant dodge them and i just keep dying!

Great Game
I just finished playing this and gave up on getting a gold for the final boss. The damn fight took about 15 minutes and he had a hit or two left before I beat him. That Clockwork level is killer.
Anyways great game, the gameplay is fantastic and I like how you need to go play previous levels you lost your life in to regain them. What keeps you going is the music which is very catchy especially the Absorb and Shoot level which seems to carry a darker techno tune. The only complaint I can say is that the music repeats on the later levels, which is a small disapointment since I was anticipating the next song after each level, and there isn't much to do after the games beat.
Anyways great game and definitely going to be following this account from now on.

I played this when it was new but didn't review it then. I love the game and the creative use of the music as part of the game mechanics. The only real improvement I can see is to make it so I can use the mouse for single player. Just add a control option for it. Otherwise the game is nearly perfect, one of the best on here.
