Reason people, reason
First of all the people that decided to give you 0's understand nothing and should not have reviewed this at all. When looking at a piece you appreciate what you see and look to build up on what it lacks and all this lacks is nothing really. The game is to display the functions of a flight simulation in different environments and settings while displaying the abilities of the artist which I must say are very impressive for making a simulation with such detail and understanding of what the environment holds. The simulation would be perfectly fine but then the artist goes one set farther to enable the people to control the environment to their choosing to a certain level. If you forget that this is a simulation you are forgetting the purpose of the piece and wasting everyone's time. Overall the piece is impressive with the look and the music adds to the environment.
Thank you for your review Anime-Halo!
So, 2 people love this and 2 hate it this far? Seems like you made a flash that polarize the people, so it has to be something special ;)
And yes, this is an original flash submission. For those out there who want to play a game with a certain goal, well, "Thunderstorm flythrough" is nothing you may care about.
But if you want to relax a bit from your everyday-routine, this may be the right thing for you!
There are just minor parts I didn't like here, I wish the screen would be a bit bigger and some obstacles would fly arround (like birds, planes, leaves) instead of the words.
I'm no programmer so I'm just suggesting this, sorry if it's completly unreal to add this elements.
Other then that, it's a quite unique and creative idea, so thanks for sharing, 'cause I like a little reality-break from time to time :)
Well have I ever... A voice of sanity and an actual review, I thought I wouldn't live to see the day! Thanks Cracker Jack, in my profile there's a 3d character I did with that name, check it out!
Not really a game, but ...
This doesn't really qualify as a game.
However I think you can use it as the basis for one.
Perhaps on a larger screen, where the player would have to fly through obstacles or avoid enemies while collecting powerups. You can probably come up with some nice story and gameplay when changing the weather affects your character and can be used strategically.
It's not suppossed to be a game, try a flight-sim...
NO POINT, NOT A GAME, BORING AS HELL, LAME SONG, ONLY COOL THING WAS THE LIGHTNING AND THUNDER. YOU SHOULD MAKE IT SO YOU CAN FLU A PLANE THROUGH IT LIKE A SIM. THEN IT WOULD AT LEAST BE LIKE A GAME. THE INTERACTIVITY OF THIS IS MINIMAL OTHER THAN MAKING IT A BIT DARKER OF MAKING NOISE. I DID NOT SEE HOW THE "CONTROLS" FOR AUTO OR MANUAL EVEN MADE A DIFFERENCE. ALL IN ALL, I HATED IT. BIG FAT ZERO. TRY AGAIN.
As a rule I do not listen to A) pre-schoolers, B) morons, C) Just plain stupid people.
Congratz, you seem to fit all catagories! Thank you forthis splendid display of your magnificent ignorance!
Im not sure why, but i found this very relaxing great job.. also i love the music.
