I had to create a 30 second music video for my Animation Culture class... figured I'd take a stab at Kinetic Typography. This was created only using Adobe Flash. I'd suggest using After Effects for this type of animation because of the flexibility, control, and effects it has over Flash. Haven't used After Effects in 2 years and didn't have time to brush up on it for this assignment.

If this gets enough hits and people really enjoy it, I'll finish the song and create some more kinetic typography videos! If you have suggestions for songs, message me.

I thought this was pretty interesting. I had seen stuff like this on other websites, but I think this is the first time I saw one of them here. What I found disappointing was that it was just too short. Well, I should have read the author's comments beforehand so I could understand it more. It's still a decent cartoon, because it has everything people love about typography. Congradulations on getting such a high score on the all time portal!

It would have been better if this was a song that I liked more. It's still a decent song and it's been awhile since I've heard it. I like how the letters are just flying around everywhere and they have real depth to them. I never thought letters in something could have depth to them. Make it a tad longer next time.
