Pretty good start
I like the sprites, however the action was way to hasty and isn't up to par. And the randomness is kinda distracting.
Your a great animator just make some tweaks. All sprites perhaps?

Promising, with good use of sprites.
My only real issue with it is that the background inside the castle was a LOT blander than all the other ones, and that it's unfinished.
I would definitely like to see the finished version.
