The Journey of Greenfeet: A Minecraft Tale

Update: 11/11/11

Thank you all for Daily First! And on 11/11/11... which we find very cool since we're all nerds.

(a bit of warning... the movie is a bit loud compared to the music at the start.. so watch your speakers!)

(Also note: We had some issues when testing the movie with it auto playing at the menu. As far as we could tell it was ad related. So don't freak out if it happens!)

We journey deep into the world of Minecraft and follow one of its most fascinating creatures, the Creeper, as he journeys to find a mate.

Written by Joseph Blanchette and Animated by Chris Boe... this is Toonwerks' first parody! We won't be doing parodies often, but they're fun to do every once and awhile.

Very Amazing

Not only was this a well written and high quality animation, but it was also a break from the common minecraft parody/animation. Most minecraft animations deal with the common "punching of the tree," the "horror of the creeper," and the simple "breaking of blocks," but you took it to a whole new level.

By exploring the "habitat and lifestyle" of the creeper, you've made a truly original and outstanding animation of minecraft. It was not only entertaining, but funny, and almost so informative that one might think it to be the true lifestyle of the creeper. When the part about the creeper tree was introduced, I honestly thought to myself, "Did Notch implement creeper trees into 1.9????"

This was quite outstanding and well done in every way. I look forward to seeing more videos of yours, and hopefully about minecraft. I truly would enjoy some information on the Spider-Riding Skeleton.

That... is a truly touching story.

But I still don't regret killing creepers. They need to back the hell off from me and my diamonds!

Awesome!

Although, you've managed to make me regret ever killing a creeper, but oh well.
