Explosions. Screams. Carnage. These are what await the player if they fail. To succeed, they must prove their reactions, multitasking abilities, and planning skills in order to safely guide the trains in each level to their correct destinations.

Epic Rail is a fast-paced game about trains which tests players' reactions, abilities to multitask, and skills in planning ahead and staying alert. Each of the 34 levels offers a unique challenge - but the overall idea stays the same: guide all the trains to where they need to go, without losing any or crashing them into themselves or each other. Do this as fast as possible to earn medals!

The game is controlled using just the mouse. Each level has a number of train-track junctions which can be controlled by the player by clicking on them to switch the direction they send trains in. The first level has just two of these to warm the player up - later levels have over thirty of them!

PLEASE NOTE: Clicking junctions adds one second to your time, so to get the gold medals you must also try to use as few junction changes as possible!

UPDATE: Front page already! Awesome! Thanks, Newgrounds!

UPDATE 2: If you are getting a message telling you the game is not playable in your location, please try refreshing the page a couple of times. If it still doesn't work, please PM me and let me know what browser you are using, what country you are in, and link to a screenshot if possible. I don't yet know why this is happening, it's not something I have built into the game - after all, why would I want to stop anyone from playing? :)

I haven't even really played it

I gave you 10/5 when I read that you have a colorblind option. I myself do not have this problem, but I know of many who often happen to have serious problems with it, (even in popular and very big games like Bioshock this can be a problem). Having such an Option is a perfect example for a way how gamedesigners can help disabled people to play their games. As stated in the title, I do not know how your game itself is.

Great & addicting

Oh my, this is addicting as hell! I like it. A lot. But I must suck, got stuck already to the "Runaway" -level, I was nearly there when those two darned trains crashed... Not for f's sake gonna check the walkthrough. Visuals, music, sounds and the idea, all great. Definitely a game for my taste.

I like trains.

I agree that it's far more entertaining to crash the trains than to complete the objective. Overall, a good game, but I feel the focus was place improperly(safely completing the level as opposed to crashing the trains.

Lots more fun to crash trains

The goal of the game should have been to find ways to crash and blow up the trains as fast and violently as possible. As it is, the game is a bit bland. How can you get excited over going from one train station to another?
