Better than most first games, but still.
When it's literally possible to win in less than two seconds, you're doing something wrong.

Try again
I think you definitely need more practice with flash.
For starters, you should have some instructions. I had no idea what was going on until I started mashing some buttons.
Secondly, it was incredibly easy - mashing the spacebar was all that was necessary for a win. A single hit, and the walls or the monster died.
Finally, the graphics themselves left a lot to be desired. The walls were all exactly the same, the ship and the "monster" looked pretty bad, and overall it was not very good visually.
Overall, it's a good start, considering this is your first attempt at a flash game. You definitely need more practice, but if you work hard, I'm sure you'll produce some good flash games in the future.

Awesome 5 seconds game, the most time I needed was to figure out how to play and then the game was over...
