11/8/11 Still working on the medals guys, hang in there. Also tried some more optimizing to fix the slippery/sticky controls issue some of you have. (also, if you have a FB tab up, try closing that)

**CONTROLS** LEFT/RIGHT walk left/right UP = Jump DOWN = Raise shield (while standing)/Use Weapon(later in game,while standing)

Oyeatia, creator and god of man surrenders his deity, descending to the green earth in search of a lost love. Gyossait sleeps in the warm black heart of the dying planet, her dreams seep into the weakening minds of man. The end begins.

Update History:

11/5/11 Patched vanishing keys, walking off map, alternative ending, Medals implemented but pending.

Odd and impressive.

The only weak spot of Gyossait is writing the poems with "i" rather than "I". It seems paltry, but "i" and grave texts don't mix well. Imagine Byron's poems with three exclamation marks at the end of each line, how would you treat them?

Overall, however, the game is quite mesmerizing.

Captivating

I played it all the way through, and was very intensely drawn into the world you made. Liked it a lot. I have to admit to not understanding a large portion of the storyline, which is regrettable, because that was what kept me going to the end. I'd really like to have someone, anyone explain what they picked up, because I'm a plot nerd and was really attracted to the aesthetic. The game played well and was interesting from start to finish. I ran into a few glitches here and there, and I feel like the plot being slightly vague was good, but I did find it hard to decipher and find out from who's perspective the text was coming from. Perhaps a more descriptive blurb in the author comments would help?

Overall, very good. I really enjoyed playing this.

A truly amazing and in-depth game

Dear readers and Amon26, I've been going to Newgrounds for several years now and have just found a reason to create an account. After playing this game I demanded that I make myself an account and give this game and its author my congrats, cause I loved this game A LOT. Thanks Amon26 for making an amazing game like this, I especially liked how it had similarities to my webcomic. Keep up the good work! :D

Pixels aiming my vitals

Somehow, it reminded me of "Sute-F" and "Neon genesis Evangelion" at the same time. Images of it will haunt me in nightmares. Can't wait...
