Have you ever looked at the figures in signs we see every day. I wondered what would go on inside the head of such a figure. Imagine guarding a door for your entire life, see people go in and out, and not know what is on the other side of that door.

I thought it would be interesting to give such a figure a chance to see what he has always wondered and give him the opportunity to take him past his wildest dreams...

As with every story the "hero" always faces some kind of challenge or finds himself completely out of his comfort zone. By putting something that has a specific purpose and putting it outside of what it was meant to do, only trouble could follow and how would that character intact with this new world. Many things are kept secret from you for a reason, and when you start uncovering it, you may not like what you find.

That was my initial thoughts when I thought of this concept. As my first animation I wanted to animate something that would look nice, move realistically, but wouldn't be to complex and will be easy enough for an animator to animate who has just started off, while providing the opportunity to develop my skills as an animator.

I never thought something could be so fun, from starting out and seeing how my baby grew into a story and how my skills developed on the way. It was truly an amazing experience to have created something like this and something people will (hopefully :-P) enjoy.

I hope you enjoy this animation just as much as I enjoyed creating it.
