Just something stupid me and Rice Pirate did. Don't know if you guys will enjoy this. I give voice actors way too much freedom when it comes to idea making xD. I blame a drunk Rice Pirate for this, but I find it funny and nice :P

New dog (authors),same tricks.

Concept: Pretty much the same jokes based on the rinse and repeat fighting style of DBZ we've seen a thousand times over portrayed from these authors own style.

Art: Gonzossm art style is decent I don't really like the amateur-like stylized art direction he's chosen but I know he has potential to perform works outside it. The colors are nice and vibrant just like the original Akira Toriyama classic.

Animation: Well since it's based on an anime that has lots of stand still moments the lack of real animation (full body movements) is understandable and of course adds relativity to the parody.

Humor: Meh, as stated pretty typical DBZ parody. This anime has always had a one trick pony parody style for the longest time. (although the abridged series proved that can change) But the jokes here are too easy and too overdone. You can pretty much find these in a dbz forum back in the 90's-early 2000's. However I did like the way the censorship was humorously used to productively to rack in subscribers.

Sound: Great quality, never had to shift the volume to understand dialogue or tone down an extremely loud sound effect. The voices were cool too since it is a parody after all.

Overall: If your a HUGE fan of these authors and they can just do no wrong, go for it. But all I found was just another rinse and repeat of juvenile jokes based on the common turn offs of DBZ and anime in general.

2/5

Huh-- so THATS what they do when they power up

(Note: I love DBZ, the comments on this review are based on the parody, not the series itself)

Here's my opening comment: Dude, Vegetas probably gonna have to go to a hospital after that attack... hahahaha- ahem- but let's get to the review =)

I loved every bit of it. The animation was linked to the same movement in the actual show (although the styling of the drawings was what I was mostly impressed by-- all that detail!!!).
Goku's cursing caught me off guard. It's not exactly what people are used to, what with his gullible personality and near firstgrader knowledge-- you guys know what I mean. Has anyone seen the Goku in Dragon Ball Z Abridged? That's what I'm talking about. You were more original about it. And the look on Vegeta and Nappa's face... priceless. XD
Although Nappa didn't do much, his death was just hilarious (dies by being energy *ahem*). And as for Vegeta, I could go on with the lower groint jokes, but then I would feel REALLY immature.

I smell a sequel!!!!!!!!
