From Homestuck, on my webcomic,

Obviously makes more sense if you are caught up on the whole story, but hope you enjoy anyway!

edit: Thanks to those who've watched it and left comments. The small file size is just the loader, the rest of the movie is about 50 MB, hosted elsewhere on NG. Tom is graciously helping me host this file for my site, and since it's already on here, I thought it would be cool to drop it in the portal.

If you're watching this and already read Homestuck, thanks for following. If you're new to it, hope you like it and will consider checking out the story. There are many animations of this sort, making much more sense in context.

Hussie's Tumblr for Research

I've seen a lot of negative comments, especially one from "Nickypickle" commenting on the supposed inability to work in flash that Andrew has. Well, you really ought to go check out his tumblr where he breaks down everything he did to make Cascade and the amount of work and effort that went into it.

He also explains a lot of things in regards to certain points that you complained about, like the transitions between segments of the video with no sound.

All I'm saying is, people should definitely delve a little further into the background behind these things before just spewing out words into a review box.

Here you go.

Amazing beyond expectations.

For those of you who are confused, know that there is a vast and intricate story behind this Flash. This is more than a collection of bizarre visuals accompanied by music, and if you don't read the comic behind it, you are only missing out.

I didn't try to imagine what this Flash would be like, because I knew it would defy my expectations. It was longer, richer, and better than I could possibly have guessed. The art was incredible, the music was thrilling, and I can't stop watching it.

I won't say that Homestuck is perfect, and it isn't necessarily for everyone, but the complexity is exactly what I am looking for in a story. It is intellectually engaging on a level that anything else wouldn't dare to touch, and I want to thank Andrew for creating it.
