From Homestuck, on my webcomic, mspaintadventures.com.

Obviously makes more sense if you are caught up on the whole story, but hope you enjoy anyway!

edit: Thanks to those who've watched it and left comments. The small file size is just the loader, the rest of the movie is about 50 MB, hosted elsewhere on NG. Tom is graciously helping me host this file for my site, and since it's already on here, I thought it would be cool to drop it in the portal.

If you're watching this and already read Homestuck, thanks for following. If you're new to it, hope you like it and will consider checking out the story. There are many animations of this sort, making much more sense in context.

I can't read your webcomic to save my damn life

But this is pretty fucking incredible- okay evidently from my score I'm not floored because it's minimally animated but I assume this perfectly fits with your homestuck theme.

I'll read your webcomic one day just to see why people love it so much.

0u0 (Wait. No that looks stupid.)

So, like every other Homestuck fan, i've been waiting for this for two months; hoping to see this, I hammered the refresh button the moment the clock struck midnight and refused to go to bed until I could try almost an hour later, inadvertently DDoSing Newgrounds with the other million or so in our horde trying to reach the promised climactic conclusion to the act started a year, four months, and thirteen days prior. Again, sorry about that.

My expectations were high, Hussie. I expected something amazing for the time it normally takes to post a hundred or two pages of the greatest story ever to grace the Internet. Well, those expectations were blown far away. I was amazed to see how far this had come at the end of Act 4, and I was simply blown away by the end of Act 5.

The most amazing part of it all is how almost every event that has transpired here is frequently used as a cliche copout, a deus ex machina for authors who have written their story into an unusable situation and need to take drastic measures to fix it. Time travel and author self-insertion are the worst offenders. However, it's quite apparent, through the obscene amount of interconnectivity that Homestuck is, that these elements have all been part of the plan for a very long time, and have been bound together so well that they create an amazing story.

That's why I love Homestuck.

This flash definitely deserves ten - no... ten and a quarter stars, and could I vote a 6.12, I would. Keep being awesome while we boggle vacantly at these shenanigans.

Simply amazing!

Wow, this is on the front page after only a single day. Andrew, you are a webcomic god. As far as I'm concerned, Homestuck has a deeper and more interesting storyline than any movie or game out there. Sure, this would be incredibly confusing if nobody read the comic, but that would just make it all the more intriguing. Personally, this is about the sixth time I've watched this "cutscene," five on the site, and one here on Newgrounds, and it still hasn't gotten old. You did a great job on detailing the characters' emotions and expressions here, and the music seals the deal.

Getting a little bit off-subject here, and no offense to you Capricorns out there, but I really wish Karkat or Kanaya would have killed Gamzee, in some spectacular way like Eridan's death. You do not simply "shoosh-pap" somebody who killed that many characters (especially Nepeta!). But, I take it there is some plan for him, so I won't bother.

All in all, this is one of the best flashes I've ever seen. Keep up the good work, Hussy! I'm looking forward to Act 6!

BTW, NeverZone, this has absolutely nothign to do with the big bang, though I can see how you might relate it.

Quality as usual

>with no dialogue at all and a bunch of random stuff happening there's no way to understand it.

Actually, if you've read the comic (And understood it) you very much can understand what's going on, and how things are unfolding.

Without the comic though, it's a bit of an acid trip of colourful images.

Great as usual Mr. Hussy. Even if I need to go and reread the whole dang thing to remember what the hecks going on.
