Rain is a puzzle platformer and my first attempt at making games. The game is currently in a very early stage and does not feature final artwork. The game is inspired by Playdead's Limbo which was brilliant and the only reason to try my hand at making games. The game currently doesn't feature any menus and the level featured here is a boss level that i wanted to show to get some feedback. The level at this stage contains numerous bugs.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as i'm just a hobbyist at the moment and a one man team.
**once the boss kills you there is no way to replay the level at the moment other than reloading the page.**

gameplay instructions- press up key to shoot, down to throw grenades(buggy),left and right keys to move, right+up to shoot up.
how to defeat the boss-okay!since the level contains a few bugs the only way to defeat the boss is to shoot down the hanging barrel right at the start before the boss shows up.This barrel acts like a shield which will protect you from the boss for a while ,use this time to shoot the chandelier and make it fall on the boss to defeat it!!!

The level featured just took 3 days to make and haven't been debugged but i just couldn't resist the temptation to show it.

I'm going to make this very short... This demo makes me not want to play the actual game.
P.S. you probably could of waited longer to release this but you seem to be a little on the slow side so good job.

I'm giving this a one

Because it was somewhat challenging, if i didn't read the description i wouldn't have got it.

However, when you have a proper demo, not just a level display where if you do get a game over you have to refresh the page and you have no idea what the demo is supposed to gear you up for, let us all know.

nilmax responds:

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.A proper demo is coming with 2 or 3 levels in a few days.

I might play it.

I would probably play it. Just tell us what the deal is with the robot thing.
