It's been over two years since I've finished a cartoon, thanks to various job changes and the breakdown of nearly all of my animation tools. New job settled and computer equipment largely replaced, I've finally finished a cartoon I started nearly three years ago.
This particular one is based on a number of seminars I attended at a television festival where TV types got themselves all hot and bothered about the potential of the internet. That's right, the moneymakers in TV admit that WE are the future! But, of course, as anyone who has seen anything dubbed a "webisode" can attest to, there have been some interesting stumbling blocks along the way as people used to how finances work in television try to make the same things happen via the internet.
Despite it being three years old, I think it still holds up pretty well. Internet versions of our favorite television shows are just as awkward as ever.
