I just wanted to say thanks so much for the front page! Believe it or not I first signed up to Newgrounds in 2001 as a very young kid, and ever since then I've wanted to be honoured with this rare privilege - so a very heartfelt thanks to Tom and the whole Newgrounds team!

Good game

Its a good game and I like the use of the octopus to attack the enemy's the only bad point which I found in the game is the annoying glitch when wall jumping when at points you will find yourself trapped in the wall other than that it is a fun game with a great concept.

>:(

i love the game. but you know the part after you face the giant worm you can try to get the chicken in the nest? i tried a million times and wasted like 20 minutes on just getting the chicken in there. one time, i finally got it to the platform of where the tree actually was, and then the chicken glitched out and was frozen above the doorway. i tried to jump up and hit it down, but the doorway was invisible and i had no idea i was about to lose all my hard work. frustrating.

there are a few glitches and the game is a little short but it's very fun and i hope you make a sequel. 5/5 9/10

Positively awesome and sadly short

Lovable game - the "ninja" gameplay and controls made it tons of fun, as with today's adventure games - and especially platformers like this - you're looking for as many cool movements as possible to make it an enjoyable experience. Reminds me of Fancy Pants series.

The art is nice and simple, and rather cute with specific characters such as the octopi, and funny with Kit.

The downfalls would be a somewhat buggy/ glitchy experience, but nothing we can't fix ourselves by refreshing, or too annoying. Also, it is too bad the game is so short! I passed it in about 15 minutes, and while it as enjoyable, hopefully there would be a sequel a tad bit longer - there is plenty of room for story making and improving. But otherwise, a very decent game. :)

Bold and adventurous

While playing Kid and the Octopod I experienced a major glitch and a few minor ones, that I am sure will be polished. For example: While climbing the first checkpoint plateau, my character jolted inside into it's barren belly for all eternity, or until I just reloaded the game. No problem, right? Aside from expected downfalls the game was overwhelmingly fun! The interface treats me right and even held my chair out for me. How sweet.
