Amazing!

I've never seen a game much like this before. It makes me feel like I have my own pet zombie to fuck around with, lol. I haven't played through the whole thing, yet, I can't figure out any other reactions then the neutral, aggressive, and passive types. I'm doing all I can like raising and lowering its hunger and humanity. Maybe if I use enough preferred items? I dunno, but the game is GREAT so far! Thanks for putting the time in to working on it for our entertainment :)

the end?

I have progressed to the point where my character has found out all he can and has given up on the research.... similarly nothing else i do triggers anything new in the story... does that mean i have actually reached the end of the game? Is this the true end of the game or is something else supposed to happen (like the protagonist being eaten up by zombies or finally losing it and turning himself into a zombie?)

great idea but way too long

good:
Great voice acting and good story/background. It's also an interesting twist on the mad scientist meme... one of the few stories with a mad social scientist. The way it's presented makes us sympathize with the zombies, to a certain extent. We even sympathize with the soldiers who spend their time keeping you alive. Curiously enough, the only thing you don't have sympathy for is yourself... for the monster you've become.
It didn't quite make sense why you killed the people responsible for your not dying. If they left, they would abandon you... but if you kill them... you're still lonely. In the end, you leave anyway! Is it revenge for killing your specimen? That doesn't make sense either, since you've killed several yourself. Only conclusion I could settle on is that you're insane/a monster.
bad:
Waaaay too long. It's nice to have variety, but there's _too much_ variety. Eventually one is led to continue more by the lure of achievements than by curiosity of response to items. Though many of the reactions are unique and interesting, a lot more of them are nearly identical between passive/aggressive/neutral. A smaller number of truly unique reactions would be quite a bit better. Though the #/4 next to each item is a great start, it would do wonders to have a colored dot/symbol to more specifically label which reactions have been observed. When 10 items are 2/4, it's a huge pain figuring out which ones are missing passive/neutral/etc. Several of the achievements in particular were atrocious. Just getting the "fully damage" achievement requires ~ 100 uses of the various weapons. Add in use, target, and skip, and it's nearly 300 clicks. and probably at least 10 mins (for an achievement that doesn't advance the game!). UGH In case you're still reading, spellcheck would do wonders, but isn't that important.

tl;dr
It's an otherwise good game that is severely crippled by unnecessary length.
Sorry for the walls of text :S
