Newer Versions should be better not Worse...

As always this game is amazing with the graphics, sounds, music, and scripting; however, the game lacks where others in the series did not. The bosses are cool and the units for the most part are cool with great art but when you increase their size it creates a terrible affect and it looks poorly done decreasing the quality of the work. When done it is also very noticeable from the fact that the pixels are clearly visible and the health bar is oddly bigger than usual. The Heroes are cool as always but they end up becoming useless units that sit in the corner of your map while you fight of the foe until he makes it to your side making the hero also a burden not a Hero. The game play is straightforward once you notice that and you have no problem defeating any of your opponents until you reach the trails which features opponents that have the power to kill your units in one hit and slowly approach your useless hero or units that are numerous and just spam you until you get to the main one. The game play needs to be fixed overall and the art with the pixels. The other things that decrease the game is that the game trades off features by having it so that your characters have slots to increase their strength, but then the magic is put in place of some of the slots decreasing the amount that could be increased and causing the player to not only learn the abilities, but once learnt, the player must keep that unit until the player finds another unit that has the ability. The weapons are nice though and add to the game play by having only one to chose from when trying to fight off the opponents. Another factor towards the game play that I found annoying is the fact that some units spawn at different times than others and have different speeds and some units may look incredible strong on the stats but could be worthless resulting from the fact that they almost never spawn when needed and are almost never where they should be when needed because they move slower than a turtle. Finally the game has to work on the story some more, it is good but could use something more to make it great. The three characters you can choose seem too distant because they never even see each other, yet they all start at the same spot in the same world, wow that's weird...Overall the game is very fun to play and keeps the player coming back with good art, sounds, music, and scripting; but could use some work on the story and game play.

The series of epic war is great, and I sugest combiening all the games into one might get more epic that way.

OMG...

my friend told me about some lame game called "epic war 5"
i checked it out and it was far from lame...
3 heros, tons of levels, 3 dificulties, what's not to love?
out of 10 i would have given it a 15 but 10 is the highest it goes...
