There's no real skill-based way to figure out where the mines are placed - either you get lucky or you blow yourself up and try to remember where you died the second time around...and then die again when you hit another mine after you passed the first one. The mines reset every game, too, so a path that was safe the first game could blow you up the second.
This could be a pretty good game, though, with a little tweaking. If the creator added an actual puzzle-based element rather than letting the player rely almost solely on luck, or (if determined to stick with the luck aspect) gave the player enough lives to use the trial-and-error method intuitively (as three is far too few), the game would be much more playable. The pacing could be made a bit faster (or the slowness of movement could be turned into a tactical advantage - for example, giving the character time to warn the player of impending doom, which I first thought was the point - but then was proven wrong after exploding another five times or so).
The characters are cute, the music is epic, and someone spent a fair bit of time on designing the explosion. Using a bit more of that time on gameplay would have / could make this game much better.
Thanks for taking time to vote and writing a review. My goal was to make a simple hilarious and funny game rather than a clone of the famous-infamous Minefield-FlowerCamp of microsoft. Hope you find the game funny.
