First game of the "Chestnut Avenue" series in which you'll have to solve some interesting puzzles in order to get out of the house.
Man, that's a hard game...
I would not in any way have cleared this game if it wasn't for the review about 5-7 reviews under mine. Even with that it was difficult.
The tranquil music and surrounding was almost annoying me because it contrasted the frustration I was feeling while trying to solve the puzzles. :P
I went to look at the flower pot about 3-4 times and I clicked everywhere in the soil. On the fourth time, however, finally something appeared from the soil. Was the clickable area like one pixel in size? Or did my computer just freeze exactly when I clicked in the right spot?
Also what on earth was the point with the drawing on the wall? The solution didn't solve any other puzzle!
Also it was frustrating when there was so little to click or examine, and it seemed like there was nothing to do. But that's pretty common in this type of games.
I'd recommend this for anyone who likes masochistic minimalist escape puzzle games. Also if you liked this, then try the daymare town games also found on newgrounds.
im to lazy but i gave it a try hahaha kind of like it great job man! CONGRATS!
it was a good game, but i sometimes is just to hard to get some stuff (the piece of paper with patter of the connect-the-dots puzzle for example), some of the puzzles were brilliant, like the one with the wires, or the chess piece, but the one with the matches is just meh, and the -connect-the-dots was just weird, i had no idea wtf that means until the second time i play the game, is supposed to be the place where the key to the wires is, but is confusing as hell (i get the hint with the little arrow, but it was until i KNEW the key was in that specific spot after clicking everywhere). Anyway it is a good game
good game, but
I will admit, it was fun, but i agree with SilverUchiha, i needs better indicators. Other than that, it was fun! Good game, ragevb.
