Like the guy below me said

These types of games are not my cup of tea, but I really enjoyed this, even if it was just a demo. It had that addicting vibe to it that makes you say "Just one more time" everytime you die, and I thought the story is actually pretty good (but simple, which is good) for a flash game. And i'm sensing some dark humor in it, too, which others might just find "sad". Oh and the randomly-generated dungeons are always a plus, too, keeping the dungeons unpredictable. My only complaints (and im not sure if its just for the demo) is that when you die, you restart the entire level. This might not be a good move when later on the dungeons get harder and harder and you have to restart the entire dungeon over and over again. I also found that you can point and click to shoot, but it seems kind of "point"less (pun) when you can only shoot up down left and right. Other then that, I think you just won yourself a fan (and a purchase) :D

Good game.

To those who don't understand, this is a rogue like game, its supposed to be easy to lose life, to die, and hard to find pick ups. Controls are pretty good. 5$ for random dungeons and 11 different endings, hard to find such a good deal. Thanks for the demo been wanting to try it for a few days.

its ok

+ The game has a decent story
+ I like the idea
+ I like graphics
- Clunky controls
-$5 for a flawed game
- No Upgrades?
- Its too easy to lose life

overall this game needs a lot of work and imo earned 5/10

Decent, but is it ethical?

Is it really ethical to expect people to pay for procedurally generated content? I still haven't paid for the full version of Powder, yet, because frankly I don't relish the thought of spending money on a game that's not always possible to win.

Or, in the case of your game, spending money just to lock away content behind the randomizer. Why wouldn't I just rather enjoy and laugh at all the silly art and symbolism all in one swoop? Why purposefully frustrate myself in having to play numerous times just to catch that one, pesky little item that is staying hidden in some specific seed somewhere?

And there's another thing: how many possible variations on the world do you promise? I.e. how wide is the seed you're using? Am I going to see the same world twice, ever?

And one last thing: is it available for my iPod touch? The only way I'm going to pay for a little appy-game right now is if it's for my iPod touch.

Not my cup of tea, but still this has impressed me

Even though it is not my cup of tea, I liked it. It is dark, disturbing and interesting enough to make me finish the demo even though it is hard as hell, but I like hard games so that is a plus. Great artwork and music is stunning. Don't have much else to say. Simple put it is a game worth buying :)
