Hi everyone! I got inspired to remake another classic after some suggestions on my previous game, DK Arcade. This was a fun project that took me roughly a month of hard work to pull off. It turned out much bigger than I anticipated since in the middle of production, I got the idea of creating a new game and changing a bunch of things to the original.
This game features 2 games within: Jetpac and Rocket!
Jetpac is the original version some may remember with many features and changes made by myself. Among the most notable changes, are Powerups and Bombs! Collect them as they fall to gain new powers and unlock secrets!
Rocket is a new game I implemented where you navigate your Rocket across space, collecting Items and avoiding the enemies for as long as you can! You get to unlock new rockets depending on how far you get on Jetpac. The collectable items are colored in Yellow, and the enemies are colored in Red. You must re-fuel your rocket with fuel packs along the way or you'll find yourself with an unresponsive rocket navigating through space!
I'm happy I managed to finish this pretty quickly and submit new things to NG, I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I enjoyed making it!

Great
Good old arcade fun. The fact that you have made it just like the old version but you have updated it in so many wonderful ways like adding a mini-game is brilliant.

Excellent and nostalgic game!!!
Playing this totally reminds of how much I played it in DK64, very fun, addictive and a great classic, I really appreciated the effort you put to bring back this old school classic, with cool and new stuff, a great revival of a old game indeed it resembles the original.
Retro-style FTW!!!

Amazing Remake!
It's so addictive and fun! Takes way more skill than modern games do, its the only reason these gaming noobs are raging in the reviews. Poor things don't know what real games are.
Old school gaming FTW!
Lol I agree ;) Thanks for the review!

New Goal: Beat the High Score!
Shattered the topscore!
Great game!
I remember playing this on DK64!
A little buggy with certain enemies occasionally getting stuck in the floor (don't know if thats part of the original code or what) .... but other than that... it was great!
Thanks for the upload! 10/10
Great Job!
See if you can beat my score!! over 1 million!
Wow congratulations! Must have taken you a while ;) I admit it was unexpected that the enemies got stuck on the floor, but I left that in since I thought it was funny XD Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
